NYC PERFORMERS
The multi-talented STOMP performers often play different roles throughout the week. Read below to get to know about each of them and a character they portray!

ALAN ASUNCION
Alan is a Filipino-American who was born and raised on Long Island and grew up the youngest of 5 children, being the only one bold enough to take the artistic career route. He taught piano and drums for many years and performed professionally in various bands since the age of 14. He performed and toured with the Off-Broadway aerial show, De La Guarda (NYC, Korea, Israel). Since 2007, he has been thrilled and thankful to be performing in his favorite long running Off-Broadway show! Passions/addictions include espresso, juicing, and still playing words with friends. Special love to Danielle, Mayah and Alana!


ONE OF ALAN'S CHARACTERS: MOZZIE
Ever-present and acrobatic. You can't get rid of him.

MARIVALDO DOS SANTOS
From Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Dos Santos has taken his eclectic talent all over the world, traveling throughout Europe, the U.S, Latin America and Asia. As a composer, musician, percussionist and producer, Dos Santos has contributed to some of the most recognizable artists, shows, music, festivals and movie productions of the past decade, such as the legendary Stingx, The Fugges, Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Pras, Joshua Bell, Steve Coleman, MD MC’S, Beetroot, Daniela Mercury, Vinicius Cantuaria, Margareth Menezes, Ogans and the Rock in Rio Madrid Festival. His own music projects like electronic recycle, Brazil Underground and Quables bring a vibrant mix of live and electronic new sounds and performances. Film and TV credits: the Emmy®-winning Brazilian soap opera India: A Love Story/Caminho das Indias, the movie Get Him to the Greek, the IMAX film Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey and Sesame Street. He is proud to be part of such an amazing production as Stomp.

DUSTIN ELSEA
From Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dustin is happy to be living in New York, New York doing what he loves. Thanks to God.


ONE OF DUSTIN'S CHARACTERS: DOCTOR WHO
Wild, crazy and likely to do unexpected things -- but only once you get to know him.

ERIC FAY
Eric Fay is a native Southern Californian with New York roots. Eric’s percussion skills were refined through years of formal drum and marching-band training. Eric is a percussion instructor and has worked as a performer at world-renowned tourist destinations in California. After seeing STOMP, his dream was to be part of it. He joined a motivational percussion group headed by a former STOMPer, and hasn’t looked back since. Many thanks to Eric’s family, and to Chris Rubio, for helping him live his dream!


ONE OF ERIC'S CHARACTERS: POTATO HEAD
The rock steady rhythmic center of the show.

DELAUNCE JACKSON
Delaunce Jackson began his journey in Cincinnati, OH studying and performing with local artist mentors Terri Brown and Jack Louiso, including annual intensives with Katherine Dunham in St. Louis, MO and syndicated pilot television series under Jim Friedman & Scripps Howard Foundation, Inc. After graduating from Howard University having studied biology and internal medicine, he went onto study with Assane Konte of Kankouran W.African Dance Company [Wash, DC], Brian Williams of Step Afrika! [Wash, DC] and Cirque du Soleil MOSAIC. He thanks the Creator for ordering his steps, his family for their undying love & support and is humbled to join the cast of STOMP  on this artistic journey!


ONE OF DELAUNCE'S CHARACTERS: PARTICLE MAN
A warrior with stamina and a sharp sense of detail.

KRYSTAL RENÉE
A New York native and LaGuardia High School alumna, Krystal has worked intensively in the theater, dance, and music fields. She trained as a theater major at California Institute of the Arts, studied classical voice abroad at Florence University of the Arts, and graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Purchase. Among others, Krystal has worked under the coaching of Ben Harney, Michael Cassara, Charles Tuthill, Craig Derry, Ankh Ra, and various instructors at Broadway Dance Center and KMA Studios. Comedy is her middle name.

IVAN SALAZAR
From San Diego, CA. Buoyed by his passion for movement and music his whole life, he joined Chris Rubio's percussion movement group and has performed throughout Southern California, from street corners to stadiums. Special thanks to Carlos Sigala, Chris Rubio, and Massapê for the inspiration and fundamentals. Bruno, Mum, Ne, Debe, and Nani and friends - He loves you guys!.

CADE SLATTERY
Originally from San Diego, Cade has been annoying people with loud percussive sounds since birth. He joined a percussion motivational performance group called Jr. Crew in 2006. Cade works with special needs kids and adults, teaches private drum lessons, and larger drum classes to kids of any age. Chris Rubio, formerly of STOMP, instilled rhythmic foundation, hard work, and dedication in Cade. After seeing his first STOMP show in 2007, the “STOMP dream” has been Cade’s solitary goal in life. He would like to thank mom and dad, Chris Rubio, Nancy Rubio, his best friends Alex and Suco, his Uncle Paul, Rush, Yes, and his little brother Desmond for being so dang cute.


ONE OF CADE'S CHARACTERS: RINGO
Like his namesake, musical and laconic.

REGGIE TALLEY
Reggie Talley was born and raised in Houston, where he excelled in sports, and theatre at a very early age. In 2007 he won the Texas Forensics State Championship for Humorous Interpretation. He was involved in almost every sport in high school including track-cross country, wrestling, swimming, football and hula hooping...? Reggie is a self-taught dancer, self-taught percussionist and acrobat. After graduating high school at the age of 16, he then went off to Sam Houston State University to study acting. He toured with Main Street Theatre while being in school, and from there...the rest is history. He wants to thank his mom, dad, brothers and sister and the rest of the fam for their constant love and support. He would also like to give thanks to Mac and Buddy, and a special thanks to his brother Khan, who believed in him and showed him to reap the full benefits out of life, continues to be his guardian angel.


ONE OF REGGIE'S CHARACTERS: MOZZIE
Ever-present and acrobatic. You can't get rid of him.

SIMEON WEEDALL
trained at the London Studio Centre graduating with the Tap Award, furthering his training in New York. He has performed in the Jazz Company UK Tour, Chicago international tour, Chicago (West End), as lead tapper for The Liam O’Connor Show international tour and in Magic of the Dance international tour. He has also worked world-wide as a soloist for Coca Cola, Classical Spectacular, Big Dance, Brighton Dome Spectacular, “The Paul O’ Grady Show”, and others. He choreographed, produced and appeared in About Time (West End) then Percussive Feet UK Tour, has appeared in the I.T Crowd, and has been teaching tap for 14 years.

PENELOPE WENDTLANDT
Penelope Wendtlandt grew up in Bavaria, Austin and NYC studying various forms of dance, music and theatre. She is thrilled to be joining her dream show. Endless thanks to her ever supportive, encouraging and inspiring family and friends, teachers and fellow dreamers.

Tough, no nonsense, and wields hammer handles like drum sticks.
